Standing here since the 1880s, it has been a saloon, a pool hall, a refuge, and a second home to generations of locals. When the fire came in 1985, the community rebuilt it by hand, because you don’t let a place like this die.
Today, the Nickel carries that same spirit forward. Holding onto the good bones, sharpening the food, deepening the drinks, and welcoming everyone who walks through the door. Tradition here is not about standing still. It is about making sure the story continues.
